Programmer (Senior) << Previous jobs


For the development of several original games for the Nintendo DS and Wii for a new publisher, we are looking for a programmer with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

The Programmer is in charge of coding in the appropriate language for differing game elements.


Main tasks:
• Integrate the game components (texture, animation, sound) and refine their interactions
• Develop a programming code and ensure the consistency of it with the existing code and programming rules already in place
• Provide feedback to others on the possibilities of the engine and on the feasibility of their ideas.
• Work with testers to ensure quality work to reduce the "bugs" and correct them when necessary.
• Actively participate in team work to determine schedules and working methods to use.
• Communicate with various team leaders to know the technical constraints and scenarios of the game.


Qualifications:
• Programming languages (ex. : C, C++, Java, C#)
• 3D environment
• Programming on different platforms
• Ability to effectively document all stages

Hiring criteria:
• Minimally, University degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, degree with a major in game programming, mathematics.
• 6 years experience in game programming and/or in programming C++
• Ready to move to Saguenay
• Willing to learn French
