The Wendigo or (Windigo) is a mythical creature common to all North-Eastern American natives and it appears in one form or another in their legends. The native tribe of Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, the Montagnais, tell the story of a battle between two giant spirits: Wendigo and Uitiku. According to this tale, both giants flung huge pieces of mountain at each other and some fell into the Lac-St-Jean, creating the numerous islands of this large lake.

 
For us, the Wendigo represents the power to impact our surroundings and indomitable will.

Some legends depict the Wendigo as a humanoid creature with the head of a puma, long deer or reindeer antlers and a long puma tail. This was the influence for our company logo.
